FPO Follow-on-public offering

FPO is when a listed company issues additional shares to raise money after its IPO.

A Follow-on Public Offer (FPO) is when a company that is already listed on the stock exchange issues new shares to the public to raise more funds.

It is similar to an IPO but happens after the company is already publicly traded.

Companies use FPOs for:

Expansion

Debt repayment

Business growth

Example:

If a listed company wants to raise more funds after its IPO, it can issue new shares through an FPO to investors.
